Poetry on Independence Day

#Independence Day

15th August 1947, India’s Independence Day
As it was under British rule, those days
Many People were against their rule and disobeyed
Fighting for Freedom, chanting slogans to send British away!

Many leaders fought for it brilliantly
Hindu, Muslim, sikh, Isai, Unitedly!
Many Freedom fighters sacrificed their life bravely
Their only motto was to make India live Freely

British were rude and torturing
In the name of tax, harassing!
If we didn’t fulfil their demand, Punishing!
People were treated as slaves, and forced to obeying!

Gandhi, Nehru, Sardar, Bose, Liyaqat, Ashfaqulla Khan
Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Bismil, Pandey, Gaffar Khan.

Laxmi bai, Chanamma, Begum Mahal, Aruna Asaf, Annie, Naidu, Razia Sultan
Lal, Bal, Pal, George, Bankim, Thomas, Tipu Sultan!

They all fought against them bravely
Became martyrs and tasted death Happily
On this day we remember them sincerely
They were our ‘Real Heroes’ , Truly!

{Happy Independence Day}
