Ganesh Chaturthi

#Ganesha...

Ganesh Chaturthi is Celebrated yearly

To mark the Birth of Ganesha annually

It falls in the month of Bhadrapadha usually

Some keep Ganesh Idols for different days accordingly

Parvati made baby Ganesha using sandal wood

One day she told him to guard the door and stood

While when she take a bath, she told him not to move

When shiva came, Ganesha did not allow him to enter his foot

With Anger shiva beheaded and took his life

When Parvati came to know she told to bring him back to life

After hearing all the truth from his wife

Shiva ordered to bring a head which has to be alive

They came with an Elephant head

Shiva gave him life again and replaced his head

Since then, People celebrate his birth

As new beginning and a rat as his Rath

People with various materials make Ganesh Idols

Prepare Modak, Neuro, and other food items

After everything they take him near the water bodies

They submerge the idol chanting Ganapathi Bappa Morya into it

And wait for his arrival next year being full enthusiastic.
